The first stage in effective ventilation is getting the hot air out. That's the main function of exhaust vents. After the hot air leaves or diminishes, the cool air moves in to create balance through intake vents. Foundation vents help remove moisture that can lead to damp rot and eventually costly damage, as well as attract termites.
If you live in a climate that doesn't require air conditioning, but your home needs cooling ventilation, consider a whole-house fan. It's also a great option if you want to run your air conditioning less often.
However, standard ball valves do not offer the fine control that may be necessary in throttling applications, but V ported ball variations are available for control purposes. The unrestricted bore in full bore ball valves make them ideal for hot tapping andpigging.
Air tends to accumulate towards the top/highest point, around changes in elevation / direction of pipes as also near Dead ends. So it is necessary to have Air vents at these points to vent the accumulated air and prevent any mal-effect on the system. Removal of Air/O2 is achieved by mounting an Automatic Air vent in the form of a Thermostatic Trap, which in this case traps Steam but relieves Air automatically.
